MidSouth Sponsors Macon Film Festival

Macon (February 4, 2010) – MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union Store Manager, Adrick Ingram, recently presented a sponsorship donation to Board members of the 5th Annual Macon Film Festival.  The Macon Film Festival, also known as MaGa, was created to celebrate the art and craft of the moving image.  The Festival helps give light to films which rarely appear in Macon, particularly those that are independent, experimental, and short in length.  MaGa is open to filmmakers working in all media, genres and themes.  The Festival will showcase special screenings, workshops and other events that are open to the public.  The dates for the 5th Annual Macon Film Festival are February 18th – February 21st.  Screenings will take place in downtown Macon at The Cox Capital Theatre and The Douglass Theatre, and also at the new Macon Marriott City Center.

MidSouth Federal Credit Union was originally charted as Bibb Teachers Federal Credit Union, and has since grown to have more than $136 million in assets and a membership that includes more than 35,000 members.  The mission of MidSouth FCU is to provide personalized and competitive financial services to its members.  Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or goes to school within their 13-county community charter.
