Georgia Heritage FCU members and the public attended a free educational seminar covering the fundamentals of investing on Tuesday, February 9, at the credit union.

Dennis Davis of CUNA Mutual Group discussed basic investment fundamentals to help attendees achieve their financial goals. Topics included the five myths and truths of investing, proven strategies to make money work harder and smarter, how to select investments that match personal objectives, how to limit exposure to risk by diversifying an investment portfolio, the benefits of professionally managed investments, and growing funds with tax-advantaged accounts.
