Atlanta Postal Credit Union (APCU) participated alongside 400 other metro Atlanta companies and several thousands of individual participants in Kaiser Permanente’s 27th Annual Corporate Run/Walk. Kaiser’s annual run/walk is designed to help promote health, wellness, and fitness among metro Atlanta companies and their employees. Proceeds raised from this annual event benefit the Atlanta Braves Foundation and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.
The Atlanta Braves Foundation provides support to metro Atlanta-based organizations that aid children in the areas of education, recreation, and health. And, just like The Atlanta Braves Foundation, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta offers support to Atlanta’s youth. Specifically, they provide developmental programs which empower metro Atlanta children, especially those who are from disadvantaged circumstances, to become productive adults.
Atlanta Postal Credit Union is no stranger to Kaiser Permanente’s Corporate Run/Walk. Their employees have participated in the event for the past twelve years. “We look forward to, and appreciate the opportunity to participate in Kaiser Permanente’s Corporate Run/Walk every year. We are proud to be part of an event that helps to support programs that contribute to the development of our childrens’ well-being,” said Dianne Yost, APCU’s Senior VP of Marketing.
