Instant Issue VISA Gift Cards

GCUA and ICUL have partnered to offer an instant issue VISA gift card program. This turnkey program is easy to administer and has limited liability for your credit union. The program offers instant issue VISA gift cards that can be used anywhere that VISA is accepted. Over 6 card designs are available including 3 holiday/seasonal card designs. This program is a great value and service for your members.

Allow your members to meet all of their gift giving needs with a prepaid card. It's like a gift certificate that can be used virtually anywhere VISA Debit cards are accepted.

What are the benefits?

How do the gift cards work?

• For the purchaser – Buy a gift card at your credit union with cash, check or Credit Union credit card, just as you would at a store.

• For the recipient – Use it just like a VISA Debit card for purchases up to the gift card limit.

How does the program work?

Simply order your initial supply of cards. The customer service team will ship your cards and instructions to walk you through the simple process of loading value to the cards when they are purchased.

How long does it take to get set up?

Typically, it only takes a couple of weeks to get set up to offer gift cards. Begin the process now so that you can market to your members and ensure that you are ready to offer gift cards for the holiday season.
