| State Ethics Commission Pursuant to House Bill 48, passed during the 2005 session of the Georgia General Assembly and signed by the Governor, effective January 9, 2006, all campaign contribution disclosure reports, financial disclosure statements, committee registrations, declarations of intent cards, political action committee reports, and choosing the option of separate accounting cards will be filed with the State Ethics Commission. You may access the State Ethics Commission Web site via www.ethics.georgia.gov. This includes reports filed by campaigns for the House of Representatives, for the Senate and for President, along with reports by political party committees and political action committees who participate in federal elections. Financial reports contain all receipts and disbursements that committees are required to disclose under the Federal Election Campaign Act. This includes contributions from individuals (if the amount received totals more than $200 a year); contributions from party committees, PACs, and candidates (regardless of amount); loans received by committees, and other kinds of receipts. |
