ATM and Debit Services
  Cooperative Services, Inc. (CSI), a division of the Affiliates, offers ATM services, including issuing ATM and debit cards and ATM terminal driving for Georgia credit unions. CSI offers affordable pricing to credit unions of all sizes due to the volume of credit union participants and our cooperative leverage. For smaller credit unions, CSI has developed the ATM Agency Program. The Affiliates also assists credit unions in establishing on-line and off-line debit card programs.

Automated Clearing House Support
  The ACH is a processing and delivery system that provides for the distribution and settlement of electronic credits and debits among financial institutions. Common ACH applications include direct deposit of payroll, dividends, and annuities and recurring payments such as mortgage, utility and insurance payments. CSI provides: receipt of ACH files, handling of returned items and notification of changes; origination of payroll for credit union employee groups, collection of loan payments from other financial institutions and resolving ACH exceptions by dealing with the Federal Reserve and other financial institutions on behalf of credit unions.

Credit Card Services
  The Affiliates offers four programs to assist credit unions in issuing credit cards, depending on the level of control the credit union wants to maintain. Depending on the program chosen, we assist credit unions with a wide range of credit card-related functions.

Check Imaging
  Electronic member statements provided by CSI's eStatements Service include hyperlinks to interactive images of members' checks. Members can also access research tools for finding and viewing check images archived on CSI's Web server. Optionally, members can also purchase a full year's check images on CD.

Deposit Chek®
 

CSI has partnered with Early Warning Services, LLC to deliver check fraud and risk management services for Georgia credit unions. Early Warning Services is a recognized leader in the check risk reduction industry and its services are designed for meeting the needs of credit unions of all sizes. The DEPOSIT CHEK® service is one of Early Warning Services' suite of services designed to identify and prevent checking account losses.

eStatements
  CSI's eStatement Service allows credit unions to securely deliver members' periodic statements electronically. The service provides both "push" and "pull" methodologies. The "push" method is where the eStatement is encrypted, password protected and sent to the member as an attachment in an e-mail. The "pull" method is where an e-mail is sent with a link to a sign-on page that allows a member to view, print and e-mail their statement. Marketing materials can be presented at the Web site for the pull method or included for delivery with the push method. Also, interactive check images are a feature of this system.

Gift Cards

Item Processing
  CSI offers the following item processing services: check collection, remittance processing and share draft processing.

Member Match Services
  To help credit unions comply with federal and state regulations, CSI offers assistance with OFAC compliance and the Financial Institution Data Match Program (FIDM). CSI also runs CUNA's Project ZIP Code Program (PZC) for credit unions.

Share Draft Printing
  CSI offers check printing services to Georgia credit unions at a significant discount by pooling credit unions that use CSI for share draft processing and their collective check orders for members.

Shared Branching
  Shared branching offers locations nationally and regionally without the expense of building new branches. Georgia's shared branching network includes four stand-alone facilities and more than 60 outlet locations throughout Georgia. Nationally, the shared branching network encompasses more than 1,100 credit unions, serving millions of members. At these locations, members can transact their credit union business using a live teller. These transactions include but are not limited to deposits, transfers, withdrawals, loan payments, etc.

Statement Printing
  Credit unions can obtain statement printing services (both traditional printed statements and electronic statements) through CSI. Pricing is very competitive and quality and turnaround are guaranteed. Turnaround for monthly statements is 3 business days and for quarterly statements, it is 4 business days.
