The DEPOSIT CHEK® service is one of Early Warning Services' suite of services designed to identify and prevent checking account losses. On a daily basis, most major financial institutions in the U.S. contribute and share the most current information on their accounts and transactions. This allows all participants to receive information early in the collection process that identifies:
- Account status information
- Stop payments
- Closed accounts
- Negative accounts
- Counterfeit items
- High risk deposits
The Early Warning National Shared Database contains account status on over 200 million accounts, over 16 million stop payment records, over one million negative account and counterfeit item records and much more.
