Obtaining information on regulatory and compliance issues is definitely critical to the operation of a credit union. That is why the Georgia Credit Union Affiliates and CUNA serve as conduits of information and are available to answer questions on day-to-day credit union operational issues. Together, GCUA and CUNA offer comprehensive assistance to help ensure that credit unions stay abreast of regulatory and compliance issues.

In addition to InfoSight Compliance eNEWSLETTER, the weekly compliance and information newsletter, GCUA offers compliance assistance through multiple channels, including the GCUA Compliance InfoSight and the toll-free Compliance Hotline. GCUA also works with CUNA to offer Regulatory Comment Calls to gather information from credit unions.

Through CUNA, credit unions can learn more about compliance issues through COBWEB, which is a compliance listserve, and CUNA's Compliance School.

CUNA's Web site, www.cuna.org, also covers many issues and can act as a valuable information resource.

The online manual delivers accurate, concise and detailed information on the vast array of compliance issues facing credit unions.

  InfoSight Compliance eNEWSLETTER is an electronic newsletter dealing with research and compliance issues of interest to credit unions. InfoSight Compliance eNEWSLETTER is the successor to the publication Noteworthy and is published weekly, except for the Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks.
