Supervisory Committee Audits
This service provides the board of directors, supervisory committee, credit union management and regulatory authorities with an independent review of a credit union's financial condition, in accordance with regulatory requirements for a supervisory committee audit.

Internal Audits

The role of the Supervisory Committee includes establishing an effective and efficient control system, establishing financial reporting policies and procedures and creating a system of corporate governance to assure compliance with laws and regulations. Some of the internal audit services we can provide to credit unions include:

  • Internal control reviews and assessments
  • Process improvement reviews
  • Cash management reviews
  • Regulatory compliance reviews
  • Review of control systems over investments, loans, deposits and branches

Technology Consulting Services

The combination of technical expertise and credit union knowledge enables us to help grow and protect your institution and compete in your marketplace. Some of the services offered include:

  • Technology planning
  • Security of member information
  • Vulnerability assessment and testing
  • Web site compliance
  • Vendor review and selection
  • ACH and TG-3 compliance reviews

Member Account Verifications
The verification of members' deposit and loan accounts is usually performed by the supervisory committee. Although a simple procedure to perform, oftentimes aspects of the procedure are overlooked. These omissions are now being looked at closely by regulators. If deficiencies are found, a credit union may be required to have the verification performed again, utilizing the services of a Certified Public Accountant. To prevent this from happening to your credit union, our staff can assist you by performing the verification entirely, assisting in certain aspects of the verification such as compiling the results, reviewing the procedures and reports that were prepared to document the verification procedure, and providing technical and educational assistance.
