Contacting the Media

When calling, keep these things in mind: editors and reporters are very busy and can get dozens of calls a day. They generally don't like to be interrupted by people pitching stories, particularly stories they think are frivolous. So don't take it personally if a media gatekeeper is abrupt with you.
