the credit union movement continues to evolve, credit unions
should consistently strive to maintain a positive image with
the media.
The Affiliates'
Public Influence staff works in a variety of ways to help
present and maintain a positive image for credit unions. Communications
strategies are developed and implemented to work with the
media and encourage credit unions to build their own positive
public profiles.
Working
with the media is both proactive and reactive. Our media strategy
involves maintaining contact with the people who report on
business and consumer issues in Georgia to keep them informed
of credit unions' positions, activities and involvement. The
Affiliates also work with member credit unions to assist with
media contact whether it is planned or comes in the form of
an unexpected inquiry from a reporter.
Public
Influence assists with event planning, and supports the continued
efforts of the National Brand Campaign. |
