Cynthia Connelly is Senior Vice President/Association Services for the Georgia Credit Union Affiliates. The Georgia Credit Union Affiliates is the name used to refer collectively to the major state level support organizations owned by credit unions in Georgia. Her responsibilities include coordination of the state and federal legislative agendas for the Affiliates and its subsidiaries and supervision over the public relations and governmental affairs departments of the Affiliates as well as the retained lobbyists. She previously held the position of Vice President/Government and Informations Services and Director of Information Services with the Affiliates.

Prior to joining the Georgia Credit Union Affiliates in February 1989, Ms. Connelly was employed by CDC Federal Credit Union as their Compliance Officer.

Ms. Connelly holds a B.A. degree in history from the University of Florida.
