The
Georgia Credit Union Foundation has provided numerous credit
unions with financial support in the form of grants since
it was established in 1988. The Foundation is dedicated to
helping our state's credit unions and credit union people
through scholarships, grants, disaster relief...and in 2003,
direct consultative support.
Historically,
Foundation grants have been presented to small credit unions
- those with assets under $20 million - that need financial
assistance for staff to attend schools and conferences. In
addition, grants have been occasionally awarded for marketing,
auditing and other operational needs. The Foundation has also
provided support for the award-winning Georgia-Poland partnership. |
